Treadmill Running - 1 hour

So tough for me. I feel like I barely made it an hour. 8 minute miles basically. Not happy about it really at all. Makes me want to get outside but I need to work on my ability to stay engaged for 2 hours so I'm on my way I guess.

Basketball

Why am I getting up at 4:30 in the morning? So annoying! So I stayed up to play basketball. So dehydrated. My angle fell pretty good despite my fall yesterday.
I don't know what to do about my defense. It's pretty awful and I don't think it's going to change.

7 Miles

That was tough. Hills and wind combined with an ankle turn that made me fall on the gravel lol. Anyway, a good brutal run always helps with the bigger picture. 
I'm so exhausted and that's not a bad feeling  at all.

Treadmill Running - 6 Miles

Running on the treadmill is weird. I knew it was slower than usual but there's a certain focus I think you need to have to keep going on it. Just getting started hopefully as the Wisconsin winter comes closer. .

Basketball

Woke up at 4 am for no reason at all. Tried to go back to sleep; couldn't. Finally went to play basketball at 6. What a shit show. I was passing all over the place. Couldn't shoot to save my life. Just an awful way to start my day. I want to take a nap now.

5 Miles that felt like 9 or something.

So yesterday around 3 pm I settled into a blood donor chair where I was hooked up a machine for about 30 minutes that cyphoned about 2 pints of blood. Took a bunch of my red blood cells. I was good with it, still am.

Then today I took off for a run, just like the lady warned against. I had 7 or 6 in mind knowing 6 was more reasonable. I got 2 miles out and was completely gassed. I had to chill for quite sometime while my heart rate clicked back to a recovery zone. I got back and had one more mile in me. So 5 miles isn't too bad but I was hating every step that wasn't downhill.

HEY! I'm back.. (said to no one)

This morning I went to play Basketball. YES! Still doing that whole thing. I've been running too and it's been so good. I've been running my fastest times ever and it's all due to 1) technique 2) consistency and 3) probably my shoes. (New Balance Fuel Cell Rebels).

It's getting cold so I need to adjust to that again. Looking forward to tomorrow when I can put on the shoes and ROLL!

Anyway today Bball was decent. I was effective inside for once and of course ran with the joy of a dog that just took a massive dump.
