Hill Run

Went and ran up and down a big hill by the house. Did that 6 times and it actually felt pretty good. 7:22 pace and 45:41.

Running on the Track

Decided to run a 10K on the track. I ran 2 laps regular pace and then every third lap I'd run faster. I ended up with a 7:01 pace and a total time of 43:33.

50 curls (per arm) with 30lb dumbbells.

10 Miles

Went out for 10 and it was my best 10 mile time ever. 7:39 pace. Writing this the next day, I will say that I wasn't sore at all. Post-stretching always helps.

100 push-ups and a shoulder workout

100 push-ups in the afternoon and then a shoulder workout designed to help strengthen the muscles around the rotator cuff so hopefully it will stop hurting and I can safely lift again soon.

Same route as about a week ago. My pace was about 3 seconds slower this week. I think it was because it was a bit warmer and humid. Anyway, here's the LINK

Sworkit

30 minute Sworkit workout. I somehow managed to select a lame workout mode, but I know enough of the regular moves that I worked up quite a sweat.
A little later, I tried out the shoulder rotator cuff exercises I downloaded the other day. I need to try to get this shoulder back to a place where I can lift.

Morning Basketball

Started out good. Then about halfway through the hour it all tanked. I couldn't make a layup, couldn't defend anything. It was awful. I got angry for the last ten minutes and had better success but the damage was already done, in my mind.

Had a great run today. that 7 mile run the other day really paid off. Stayed around 7:24 mile pace.

Weights at the Rec Center

Put in some time at the gym and the right shoulder is not getting any better. I think I'm going to look up some PT exercises for it and try those. It's not doing well.

7 miles with hills.

Had a tough but great run. Hit 7:36 mile pace even with all the hills. I consider this my best recent run because I wasn't sick feeling anytime after.

Treadmill Running - 1 hour

So tough for me. I feel like I barely made it an hour. 8 minute miles basically. Not happy about it really at all. Makes me want to get out...
