5 Miles

Went for a run with my inserts in my shoes. Trying to figure out what's going on with the bottom of my foot. I ended up taking them out at 2.5 miles because my toes were dead asleep or whatever is going on there.

I ran back and could tell it was gonna hurt. My last mile was under 7 minutes but I've had discomfort right behind the ball of my foot ever since my run. (writing this on the Wednesday after).

I'll figure it out. I'm super determined to make this happen especially since I signed up for a marathon in late August.

Morning Basketball

Finally got up to play ball today. It wasn't a bad effort. Made a couple lay-ups, had a few decent passes. I'll take it after 9 weeks off.

6 Miles.

So it's been over a week since I ran, other than a little bit Wednesday with the running club kids. It was a beautiful day outside. It snowed last Thursday so there is still some melting snow around but not for long with upper 50's and sunshine.
Anyway, I got  about 1.25 miles and there were the long distance kids from the H.S. track team a little bit ahead. It took me a couple of blocks to catch them, but I did so that felt good.

Now I need to look up something that's been happening after my runs. I'm getting a tightness right behind the ball of my foot. I don't want that to turn into an injury.

Had a good session with Justyn and Brian. Still the low scorer but what are ya gonna do? Get back in there I guess.

Clintonville Rec Center

Took the boys to the Rec Center. I had a decent workout. Chest, shoulders and Triceps. Of course I'm weak from not lifting very much the last three months and still worn out from my run yesterday. What are ya gonna do?

12 miles

Took off for that 6 mile point. Felt great all the way to mile 10 then those last 2 really slowed me down. It's OK I was still good with my pace.

Racquetball.

Played Racquetball with the dudes. I had fun but lost like usual. I'm always just glad I come out of there without some sort of injury.

Hill Training

Well that was a mess. I was going for 8 times up and down this certain hill, so 8 miles. The wind was atrocious and right in my face on the way up. So not only did I last 6.5 times, but one of my times up got lost because my watch didn't work for me.

So all in all I was pretty disappointed, but life goes on.

Treadmill Running - 1 hour

So tough for me. I feel like I barely made it an hour. 8 minute miles basically. Not happy about it really at all. Makes me want to get out...
