Ultimate Frisbee

We had six on six. It was an experiment in that I wore shoes that weren't cleats. That didn't go over super great for me. For what I made up in feeling like my shoes were going to break, I lost in the slipperiness of being in regular running shoes on slightly wet grass.

We also lost both matches.

Everything Kind of

Went to the Rec and did a chest and curl workout. I was trying to cover all my bases from missing my workouts all week. So it wasn't extremely productive but it was something at least.

Morning Basketball

What an awful start. I ended up getting it together a little bit. I did try to wear my old glasses instead of my goggles. Got sick of them, tore them off and threw over to the side. And then I forgot them there and I don't think I'm going to try to find them.

Sworkit

45 minutes of Sworkit and I was dripping sweat. I love that app so much. Then I went over to the Cross Country meet at the middle school and rain around cheering the kids on. Beautiful evening to be sure.

Ultimate

Great group today. We had six on six. My ankle felt great. My shoes are pretty much done though.
Left at 3:30 because the baby is sick and Alissa was having a tough day.

Back, Biceps and Legs and then Run club

Mixed in leg machines and core with back and bicep work. Felt good about it for the most part.

After that I went over to running club and ran with the kids.

Morning basketball

My ankle was a bit of a factor. Also I felt really out of shape. I haven't been running or sprinting. So I need to get back on it as soon as this ankle gets back to a place where I can.

Back, biceps and running

Rec center. Worked back and biceps. Alternated core and abs like I do.
Then I went running with Rainn's running club. I tripped on a piece of wood in the woods turned my ankle and went down. Got back up quickly but it still hurt pretty bad.

It still hurts.

Chest and stuff

Got a great workout in. Worked through all the chest, shoulder and triceps, alternating core and ab work within the sets. It was about 79 degrees in there and I was dripping with sweat. I didn't mind though.

Morning Basketball

Good morning. I had a half a cup of coffee before I left. It might've helped a bit. I'm not sure. Had some OK shots, and a couple decent passes. Missed another freakin' lay-up or two. Such an idiot.

Ultimate

Had a great time playing today. We had some good numbers probably 7 on 7. Ended up with 6 on 6 by the end of the day. Felt good all afternoon. I'm pretty tired now but it's always worth it.

Leg Day

Started off with a mile on the treadmill and then moved to all the leg machines and did a dead-lift for the first time. I'm ready to put a leg day in the weekly rotation.

Chest, Shoulder and Triceps

Did a stack workout on the bench. Tried to get on the cables but there was this goofy dude with giant headphones doing a SUPER long leg workout on the cable machine. I've never seen anyone waste time with such passion. Anyway, so I didn't get a chance to work on it all but I still had a decent workout.

Random goodness

100 push-ups 100 sit-ups 50 curls with 30lb dumbbells and 50 shoulder raises.

Then ran around 2.75 miles while playing disc golf.

Frisbee sprints for about 30 minutes.

Treadmill Running - 1 hour

So tough for me. I feel like I barely made it an hour. 8 minute miles basically. Not happy about it really at all. Makes me want to get out...
