Chest and Shoulders

Had a really good workout. Not getting much stronger but I will say that my shoulder is giving me zero trouble. So that's good. Now all I have to do is figure out this forearm issue and I'm ready to go.

Morning basketball

Had four air-balls but also had some nice shots, some defensive stops, and all that. Hit my finger at some point and twisted my ankle pretty good. Ankle braces have saved me so many times.

5K and other stuff.

So to be perfectly transparent, I set out for a 5 mile run, but couldn't seem to keep the pace for it. So I ended up with a 5K instead with a 6:58 min/mi pace. After that, since I was on the Gen. Cone Fitness Trail, I ran from station to station and did all that, pull-ups, sit-ups, push-ups and some other cool things that are set up out there.

Chest workout

Well I'm not getting any stronger, that's for sure. I'm glad that I'm going to the gym but I'm certainly not lifting anything heavier than last week. not sure if it's diet, age, no creatine or a combo of those things.. I think I might go ahead and get back on the creatine soon here.

Back and Biceps

Got up this morning to play basketball and the facilities people didn't unlock the doors at the school for spring break.. So that was a bummer. Went to the Rec. Center later in the afternoon. Had a decent workout. I still have something wrong with my bicep area. Incredibly frustrating. Also did 100 pushups at the end.

Almost got through a 45 minute strength workout then I had to bring Alissa something that one of the kids forgot for their swim lesson grrr.

Chest and stuff

Trying to really be mindful of the amount of weight I'm lifting but also making it a good workout. Doing that by alternating quickly between two types of exercises. I feel good about it, ready for a shower.

Back and Biceps

I still have some pain from last summer in my left bicep, so that's concerning. I backed off the weight and that seemed to help. I should detail my workout better but... I'm not. Also did 100 pushups at the end of the workout.

6 Miles

Pre-run: 100 push-ups. (5 sets of 20)

Great day for a run today. In the low 40's and the wind wasn't bad at all. I knew I could go six. Those last two miles hurt but still a decent run overall. My toes didn't hurt the entire run. Now, typing this there's some discomfort but nothing that won't be gone in a couple of hours I'm sure.

Chest, Shoulders and Triceps

Worked the usual stuff during this workout. I'm not super worried about doing the "usual" right now because I basically just started back at the gym. 

Treadmill Running - 1 hour

So tough for me. I feel like I barely made it an hour. 8 minute miles basically. Not happy about it really at all. Makes me want to get out...
