7 miles

Had a great run all around. It was about 38 degrees out and not too windy. I felt in control of my pace and form. I need to get the time down, but that will happen as I lose these 6 or 7 lbs.

Back and Biceps

Got the Rec center today. I didn't feel too weak but certainly not where I was last summer. That's for sure. Threw some pushups in there as well.

I tried to run

So I start out on a distance run going for 7 miles. Hit 1.5 miles and get super light headed. I had to stop, and then couldn't get my bearings until the last half mile home. So dumb.

6 Miles

Better than I thought actually for as much hill work as there ended up being. Not hating the results at all. Long way to go to get 6.2 under 45 minutes but I think I can get there.

5 Miles.

Was looking back over some of my other 5 mile runs where I'be been starting back and this time was better than most. 7:35/mile pace. Mostly flat so I'll need to really get after the hills in the next couple of months.

4.5 miles.

Well that was awakening. I knew I was out of shape but that felt ridiculous. I'm soft and slow. The last 1/2 mile was a cool down. It had to be because I finished the 4th mile running up a sizable hill and my heart rate was 182 and that's about as high as I want it at my age. I would take a shirtless "before" pic but just remembering this run today and how I feel even now is worth several pics from varying angles.  :(

Treadmill Running - 1 hour

So tough for me. I feel like I barely made it an hour. 8 minute miles basically. Not happy about it really at all. Makes me want to get out...
