Basket Ball... and neck injury

Woke up feeling a little iffy in the digestive area thanks to some 4 alarm salsa I encountered the night before. Went to play basketball anyway and about 10 minutes in my neck/shoulder muscles seized up on me. Getting to the chiropractor today and I'm hoping he can help ease up some of this pain.

Back and Biceps Day

Great workout overall. I made sure I kept good form so as not to agitate my lower back. Seemed to do the trick. I also did some squats, a few ab moves, worked the lats and managed 100 pushups.

Basement Workout!

Basement workout! 100 pushups, sit-ups, curls, squats, mountain climbers, and several other moves that I have since forgotten. Either way, it was a good 45 minutes of getting after it.

Morning Basketball - Lifting

Basketball was OK. Started out pretty great, still made some decent shots throughout the morning but I kept missing my up-close shots. Incredibly frustrating but I'm always happy to be able play in any capacity. 

Lifted this afternoon. I got to bench 205. It was just one time and only about halfway down but I got it!

Morning Basketball and 100 pushups.

Great morning on the court today. My lower back let me know it was there a couple times, but for the most part I was all good. No airballs and some shots that made me happy. My cardio is suffering though. I REALLY need to get back out and run.

Will do my 100 pushups later in the day.

Chest, Shoulders and Triceps

Had to do a quick workout today as the schedule was a bit tight. Also, my back has been tight since Monday's workout but it didn't factor into today. Also I put up 195 on the bench press today! Put it up one time, waited a minute and put it up again.

Hope my back is good enough to play basketball tomorrow.

Back and Biceps- 2 Miles

Well, I had a great workout. My curls were actually down a bit but I think I need to work the biceps more than just once a week. After a considerable amount of lifting I had time to run for a bit on the treadmill. That was depressing. I went 2 miles in 16:50, that's a 8:25 pace.
Either way, whatever it was, maybe the evil treadmill, my lower back is killing me.

Morning Basketball and afternoon Chest Workout

Morning basketball went well. It was just 3 on 3 so there was quite a bit of running. I needed that.

Had a great workout. Got 185 lbs up a couple times after building up to it. Watched my shoulder to make sure that it didn't get worked too hard. Made some adjustments on which moves I did so that helped.

While watching some tv, I did some shoulder presses, some curls, an ab workout, and a glut workout. Nothing special but it was better than just sitting on the couch.

Morning Basketball and more

Great workout for sure. Missed any shot that wasn't a lay-up, but had a few good ones though so my morning was redeemed.

Later in the day I did 100 pushups, an ab workout, a glut workout and some shoulder work with my 31 lb. dumbbells.

Had a great workout today. Felt like everything was solid and I even did 100 pushups at the end. Curled 40lb dumbbells which is a good improvement for me.

Morning Basketball.

My shoulders were straight up fatigued throughout the game. I hit some decent shots, but missed some easy ones too because my arms weren't in sync at all. I hope to do some ab and glut workouts later on tonight.

Chest, Shoulders and Triceps.

Had another PR with my bench press. Put up 185. So I finally benched what I weigh plus a couple of pounds. I hope to continue to grow in that. Good workout overall, though I did feel some tension (pain) in the left shoulder with a couple of shoulder raises. 

Treadmill Running - 1 hour

So tough for me. I feel like I barely made it an hour. 8 minute miles basically. Not happy about it really at all. Makes me want to get out...
