Back, Biceps, Pushups,Glut and Abs.

Went to the gym to work the back and biceps. Had to come home a little sooner than I wanted so I finished up at the house with some ab work, and a 6 minute glut workout.

4 Mile Run.

Got up this morning to run with my buddy Kregg. We went at a pretty conversational pace so my time was nothing to brag about but that's not a problem. Here's the link for the run.

Morning Basketball

Blah day. Couldn't seem to get in a rhythm but it was still good to get 9,000+ steps by the time I got home at 7:05 am.

Chest, shoulder and tricep day and yard work.

Had a productive workout. Worked my way up to 195 with 2 reps. Used 30 lbs on my shoulder raises. After my workout went home and mowed and edged the yard. Finished up after 2.5 hours.

Morning Basketball - 100 pushups

Had a pretty good morning. Up close shots still my thing. :/ Feeling the energy drain as the hour comes to a close though. I hate that. It'll take time to get my endurance back to where it needs to be but I'm working. 

Did 100 pushups later in the evening.

4 Miles (2 Miles to gym, Back & Biceps and then back home).

Ran to gym which turned out to be 2 miles exactly. Had a decent back and biceps workout with some abs and 100 push-ups mixed in. Had to really push the last mile to get a decent time but that's what a workout is for right?

Morning Basketball

15 guys there today so I had a lot of time to shoot around during games. I need that and was making all kinds of shots during that time. Then when I got in the games I was way overshooting. Lots of air-balls today. At least I had some good moves around the hoop.

Chest, shoulders and Triceps.

Started off with the bench press. I took my time with the weight increases. Took it up to 185 with a few reps and then back down. Shoulder raises were up five lbs on each side. Shorter workout but I like to get in there and get a sweat going as well.

Had some fun times. Decent shots were made. Defense was awful. Need to start counting calories. Not to limit them really but to be accountable for WHAT I put in my stomach.

Didn't start too fast and that helped. Just focused on my form and pace. Looking forward to getting back into the groove as it cools off here pretty soon!

Had a good workout. Focused on slightly lighter weight and more reps. Worked to failure on the last set of shoulder lifts and pushups. Added in a set of abs.

100 pushups and yard work.

Did my pushups and then had a ton of yard work to do. It was a good calorie burning day to be sure and the yard looks better than it has in 3 weeks.

Back and Biceps (mostly)

Had a great gym workout today. Went to focus on my back and biceps and ended up throwing 100 pushups, worked the legs a bit and also did some ab work.

Morning Basketball

Had a pretty good morning. Not a great shooting morning, but good shot % around the rim. Got nailed in the thigh by somebody's knee. That was awesome. But should be a non-factor in the long run. Hoping to get in some pushups in later. *edit- Did not get to pushups.

4 Miles

Finally got back in my running shoes! My pace was ridiculous but at least I got 4 miles in! Nothing is sore and it even helped my neck loosen up a bit.

Basketball and 100 pushups

Not my best morning but not too bad for how I was feeling. Neck is still hurting though and I payed for the choice to play basketball all morning, but I don't care. Later in the day I did 100 pushups. 
I don't know when this pain is going away but I'm not gonna let it shut me down.

100 Pushups

Finally after nearly a week of not being able to do anything, due to the intended and constant pain over been in, my neck finally left me alone enough for me to do some pushups. Happy to be on the mend.

Treadmill Running - 1 hour

So tough for me. I feel like I barely made it an hour. 8 minute miles basically. Not happy about it really at all. Makes me want to get out...
