Back and Biceps

Got a chance to really focus on what I was doing and think about form. Totally sore from the previous day's' workouts especially when I ended the workout with an attempt at some abs. Either way, it was good to be in there and energized.

Basement workout

100 push ups with squats, side and front lunges mixed in. 

Abs: lots of abs. With a minute plank at the end. 

6 minute glut workout

100 burpees 

Brutal.

Had a great workout. Really got to take my time. Still got 205 up at the beginning. Can't wait to type 215 here in the next month or so.

Found some time to run today. Felt good, didn't push it too much and came out with a 7:39 avg mile pace.

Morning Basketball

3 on 3. I shot the ball like I had a broken hand. Just awful. At least I ended up with 6400 steps.

Back, biceps and other stuff

Primarily worked back and biceps. Added in 100 pushups, quite a bit of leg work and an ab workout to end.

Glad I got up. It was a great workout. I played average-like. I'll take that. Small group so it was all half court but I still got over half my steps for the day. :)

Chest Shoulders Triceps

Started off with 205, so I was happy that I didn't lose any strength since last time I'd lifted. Great workout overall. I'm determined to wake up early on the days when I know I can't go later in the day.

Sat morning Basketball

Local school opened up their gym this morning. Got like an hour and a half of basketball in. My legs are feeling it but it was cool. Had the winning shot on the last game. Felt good about my effort overall.

3 Miles.

While it wasn't a long distance, my form was good and my time was unexpected. Ran in 21:52 with a 7:18 pace. Not race ready but not terrible for a near 3 week gap in my running.

Morning Basketball

I should've stayed in bed. I was the 3rd guy on a 2 on 3 situation. I was ineffective and didn't get a workout because you know, you feel bad going all out when you're on a team of three against a team of two. Lame. 

Treadmill Running - 1 hour

So tough for me. I feel like I barely made it an hour. 8 minute miles basically. Not happy about it really at all. Makes me want to get out...
