Had a slow start mentally today but my shot was a lot better compared to a few weeks ago. Just happy to get out there and get it done.

Morning Basketball
Had a pretty good morning. Felt awake and ready to go. Hit some decent shots. Just need to jump with a little more 'umph' when under the basket.

Back and Biceps.
Rode my bike to the Rec. Center today. Worked mainly on back and biceps with some various squats and abs sprinkled in. Good workout for me, I just get frustrated because I life such small weights right now.

Morning Basketball.
Took the longest time to get my body to wake up. At one point I got so frustrated I let out this primal scream of lament. It seemed to kick-start things a bit. Had some good drives and a couple shots.

Weights and such.
Finally got to the gym. Did a chest, shoulder and tricep work with abs and legs interspersed in.
Wasn't a great but then again what do I expect after so much on cardio as of late.

5:30 came rather early for me today and thanks to my run yesterday I had absolutely no pop in my step. I had not one care for the outcome of any of the games this morning. Just there to burn what calories I could.

Morning Basketball.
Couldn't hit a shot to save my life this morning but had some productiveness around the basket. Also, even though I have some joint soreness from yesterday's run, I could feel a lightness and a quickness in the step (for me) that wasn't there a month ago.

9 Miles on my day off.
When I run I consistently think about how fortunate I am to be able to move down the road in that capacity. I'm not a super-marathoner by any means but I enjoy every single step (even though I sorta hate every step too). Today, even with the wind being a little mean at some spots, the clouds and the sky were unbelievably beautiful. Great day, good run. Great to be sore, great to know recovery is happening as I type this.

8 Miles!
The whole run felt good. The tailwind the first 4 felt REALLY good but it wasn't too bad on the way back I just kept leaning into it and engaging the core while concentrating on a mid-foot strike. Here's the link to the run.

Cardio with the wife.
It's not what you might be thinking. We just did a video workout Turbo Fire for 60 minutes. Good times. I don't mind jumping around the living room for an hour.
