Tried to get fancy too many times. Still made a few shots and some good defensive moves. Had the pleasure of twisting the old ankle. That's always a sweet reminder that you're alive..

Went to jump rope for 6 minutes. Got 2 minutes in and my inner ear was feeling wonky. At 42 I don't mess with that so I called it a day.

Sunday Ultimate
So five people showed up. It was sad. It was also 95° and graduation season but I still like to make fun of how lame it is that Wisconsin people can't deal with temps in the 90's. Anyway, I missed my AZ people today also just because if I lived there I'd easily be in one of the leagues they have there.

Friday Workout
Well that was fun! I went to the Rec Center for the first time in a long time. Basically did a chest and shoulder workout but with some bicep work. So I FINALLY was able to do a couple pull-ups which has not been possible until now due to my left bicep injury from last summer.
I also did a dead lift for the first time ever. I know that's super lame but whatever.
Added some core workout stuff into the mix. THEN I came home and jumped rope for my usual 6 minutes and ended with some focused agility ladder work downstairs.

Cellcom 5K with River
Really fun run with River today. He worked really hard and even pushed me a little bit. It won't be long and he'll be slowing his pace to let me keep up.

Back At It.
After a week of being sick and not being able to work out or go to basketball or anything I worked out today finally.
Started off with warming up with simple steps on the agility ladder
Then did a circuit of bicep curls, ab extensions and side planks all with agility ladder steps in between.
Then did another circuit of push-ups, sit-ups, squats with a dumbbell and shoulder exercises.
The cold that I have was really letting me know it was still around and so when I went up to jump rope I could only get to 2 minutes and my legs weren't having it.
Then I went to running club and ran for about 20 minutes through the woods with Rainn.

Morning Basketball
Really good morning. My shot was pretty much there. My passing had some awareness to it. I was really glad that I took a rest of everything yesterday. I felt fully recuperated and like I could've run for another hour.
